Cast Iron Apple Cheddar Ham Pizza

1 cast iron skillet with lid
Ingredients
1
fresh pizza dough

tbsp
apple butter
3-4
ounces
aged white cheddar cheese
shredded
3-4
ounces
diced smoked maple ham
Instructions
Prepare your fresh pizza dough.
Sprinkle corn meal in an oiled cast iron skillet and preheat for five minutes.
Add the dough and cook for 4 minutes. Flip and cook 2 minutes. Remove from pan.
Fry diced ham. Poke holes in pizza dough and spread with apple butter.
Add half of the fried ham and shredded cheddar. Top with remaining ham.
Place back in pan and cook covered for 4 minutes on medium.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of water to the skillet and quickly recover. Cook 2 minutes longer.
Slice and serve.
